Audrey MacLean earned a spot on the CSC Academic All-America At-Large Third Team. She became the third women’s track and field athlete to earn the honor from the national organization, joining Avery Maxwell (2015) and Cassie Kearney (2022). She claimed her first CSC Academic All-District award.

The runner continued her dominance on the cross country course during her sophomore campaign. MacLean crossed the finish line first at the NESCAC Championships with a time of 20:21.15. Her performance also earned her the conference’s most outstanding performer honor. On the national stage, she claimed sixth at the national invitational, stopping the clock at 21:10.8 for her second First-Team All-American honor.

During the indoor track and field campaign, MacLean claimed her first indoor All-American nod by finishing eighth in the 5,000-meter (16:58.25) at the NCAA Championships. The momentum carried over into the outdoor season. MacLean defended her conference crown with top honors in the 3,000 steeplechase with a program-record clocking of 10:21.15 and runner-up accolades in the 5,000. The Panther excelled on the national stage, claiming second place in the 3,000 steeplechase (10:21.15) and eighth in the 5,000 (16:36.94) to become the second women’s track and field athlete in five years to secure two All-American honors at a single NCAA event.

MacLean is a three-time USTFCCCA and NESCAC All-Academic honoree. She is a volunteer at Girls on the Run, a fun, evidence-based program that inspires participants to recognize their inner strength, increase their level of physical activity, imagine their possibilities, and confidently stand up for themselves and others.
