Middlebury College men's soccer defender Jack Spiridellis (Mamoroneck, N.Y.) has been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-America Third Team. Last month, he earned a spot on the CoSIDA First-Team Academic All-District squad for the second-consecutive year. Spiridellis is the third men's soccer player to earn the prestigious honor.

The senior boasts a 3.95 grade point average and is an economics major. He is a three-time member of the All-NESCAC Academic squad, and has started 24 of 42 career games.Â

The defender was part of the NESCAC's top defense in 2019, limiting its opponents to one goal or less in 33 of the last 37 games. The Panther defense has recorded 20 shutouts the last two seasons.
