Middlebury College

Middlebury men's lacrosse player Andrew Ng (Woodinville, Wash.) was named a College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) At-Large Second-Team Academic All-American selection by the organization. Ng is the first player from the program to earn the honor.
 
Ng had a perfect 4.00 grade point average with a double major in biology & economics and was named the co-valedictorian. The senior was previously honored as a CoSIDA Academic All-District honoree and reeled in New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) All-Region accolades.
 
The team captain played a key role for the Panthers this spring, starting all 16 games as part of the defensive unit that held opposing teams to 10 goals or less seven times. He established a Middlebury single-season record with 35 caused turnovers, ranking him fourth among league peers. Ng also collected 42 groundballs, placing him among the team leaders in the category.
