Julian Wu, an economics major, earned a spot on the CSC Academic All-America Men's Tennis Third Team. He earned the accolade for the initial time in his career after picking up the first CSC Academic All-District award in May.
The Panther had a dominant year, securing All-NESCAC First-Team Singles accolades and a spot at the NCAA Individual Championships. During the event, Wu reached the Round of 16 after winning his opening match. He claimed the ITA New England Regional singles crown in the fall and advanced to the semifinal round of the ITA Cup. Wu was 26-7 in 2023-24 in singles action picking up 51 career wins in just two seasons in the navy and white while dropping only 11 matches. He ended the year ranked fifth in the country in singles and held a 10-3 record during individual play at #2. Wu owned a 22-6 overall record throughout the doubles lineup, including a 13-3 mark in dual action. The Panther holds a 42-17 career record in doubles entering his junior season.
Off the court, Wu is a NESCAC All-Academic team honoree and an ITA Scholar Athlete.Â
