Julian Wu graduated with a degree in economics and a 3.80 grade point average. He is a two-time CSC Academic All-America Men's Tennis Team honoree. The Panther secured first-team laurels after earning third-team recognition following his sophomore year. Wu also earned Academic All-District honors twice.
The Panther posted a storied career, earning All-NESCAC First Team honors in singles and garnering a spot at the NCAA Individual Championships on two occasions.Â
During each national invitational, Wu reached the round of 16 after winning his opening match. He claimed the ITA New England Regional singles crown during his sophomore campaign and advanced to the semifinal round of the ITA Cup.Â
Wu concluded his Middlebury career with 82 triumphs (82-25), marking the third-best total in the last 12 seasons. He capped his final year in the navy and white ranked 10th in the country in singles and a 10-4 record in the top flight during the spring. Wu owned a 65-34 career record throughout the doubles lineup, including an 18-10 mark in his final campaign.Â
Off the court, Wu is a three-time NESCAC All-Academic team honoree and ITA Scholar Athlete. He is a Dean’s List recipient and a College Scholar.
