Kristyn Carroll, an earth sciences and climate major, earned a spot on the CSC Academic All-America Softball Third Team. She became the second player in program history to earn the accolade alongside her second CSC Academic All-District honor.
The outfielder excelled in her third season for the Panthers in 2025. She was named an All-NESCAC and National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) First Team selection for the third straight campaign.
One of three Panthers to appear in 39 contests during the season, Carroll led the conference in on-base percentage (.580), batting average (.496) and walks (24). She was tied for first in the NESCAC with 46 runs scored and finished second with 61 hits and a 1.239 on-base plus slugging percentage. Her 61 hits and 46 runs scored broke the single-season program marks. During the 2025 campaign, Carroll became the career leader in walks with 66.
Through her junior season, Carroll has started 109 consecutive contests and tallied a .477 career batting average alongside 163 hits and 129 runs scored. Her 65 stolen bases are also a program record.
Carroll is a two-time NESCAC All-Academic honoree and a member of the Middlebury Mountain Club and Sunday Night Environmental Group.
