Kristyn Carroll graduated with an impressive 3.78Â grade point average in earth and climate sciences. She is a two-time CSC Academic All-America honoree. The outfielder earned a third-team nod last year before logging the same accolade during the 2026 campaign. She is the first player in program history to lock down the national accolade twice in a career. Carroll has also received three CSC Academic All-District nods.
During her final season, the outfielder paced the squad with a .500 batting average, 116 total bases, 79 hits and a 1.271 on-base plus slugging percentage over 45 contests. She also broke the single-campaign records for at-bats (158), hits, runs scored (53) and triples (11).Â
Alongside her banner campaign, Carroll earned a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-American Third Team nod and her fourth first-team all-region distinction. She was tabbed the program’s third conference player of the year and became the first player to secure four consecutive All-NESCAC First Team awards. Additionally, she was named to the NCAA Medford Regional All-Tournament team.
Carroll graduates as the career leader in batting average (.484), at-bats (500), hits (242), runs scored (182), stolen bases (100) and walks (79). She is also tied for the most games played with 154.
Off the field, the Panther was a three-time NESCAC All-Academic and Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete. She earned college scholar and dean’s list accolades. Carroll completed a two-semester senior thesis on the petrology and geochemistry of the Abbott Mountain Complex in southwestern Maine and was a teacher’s assistant in the earth and climate sciences mineralogy lab during her final semester.
Additionally, Carroll was the green liaison for the softball team, a member of the Middlebury Mountain Club and Sunday Night Environmental Group and taught snowboarding lessons at the Middlebury Snowbowl.
