sladja Sladja Kovijanic, a member of the Class of 1993, is the only All-American in Middlebury women’s basketball history. No woman has scored more points in a Panther uniform than Kovijanic, who netted 1,602 in just three seasons.

Her name is found throughout the record books at Middlebury, the most prominent record being her nation-best 30.9 scoring average in 1993. During that All-American season she set single-season school records for points (648) and three-point field goals made (80). Her single-game point totals of 47, 46, and 44 in 1993 place her second, third, and fourth in single-game Panther efforts.

Kovijanic averaged 24.6 points per contest over her four years on the hardwood, including a school-best 185 three-point field goals.

During her junior and senior seasons, she led the Panthers to a 36-8 record, including the 1992 ECAC Championship.
