Char Glessner, a member of the Class of 2004, earned All-American honors in both lacrosse and field hockey at Middlebury.

On the lacrosse field, she was a three-time All-American honoree and the 2003 NESCAC Player of the Year, garnering Rookie of the Year honors in 2000. Glessner earned All-NESCAC honors on three occasions and was a two-time member of the NCAA All-Tournament Team. In her four seasons, the Panthers won three NCAA Championships and four NESCAC crowns, earning an overall mark of 70-1. At the time of her induction, Glessner was tied for third in career goals (186), fifth in assists (75), and second in points (261).

In field hockey, Glessner was a four-time All-NESCAC selection who earned a spot on the 2001 All-American team. The 2001 NESCAC Player of the Year, she led the league in both goals (14) and points (32) that season. In 2003, she helped guide her team to the NESCAC Championship, earning a trip to the NCAA Finals. She finished her career with 50 goals and 25 assists for 125 points.
