Brian Waldron, a member of the Class of 2006, helped put men’s tennis on the map.
Waldron, the 2006 NESCAC Player of the Year, was a three-time All-American in singles. He was tabbed to the All-NESCAC First Team three times in singles while also earning the honor in doubles in his senior year.
In 2004, Waldron was the ITA Cup Singles finalist, following that up with finishing as the NCAA Singles runner-up in 2006.
He helped Middlebury capture the program’s first national championship in 2004, while also leading the team to NCAA runner-up finishes in 2005 and 2006. Waldron was a part of three NESCAC Championships during his time as a player.
Waldron capped his career by being tabbed the ITA Senior Player of the Year in 2006.
