The Middlebury College track & field The Middlebury track & field teams both turned in solid finishes at the 2013 NESCAC Championships hosted by Tufts. The Jumbos won both conference titles, with the Panther women placing second and the men coming in third.

Three Panther men took home NESCAC crowns, as well as the 4x100 relay team. Bryan Holtzman was a victor in the 100 (10.93), while Kevin Chu earned a victory in the 110 hurdles (14.71). Also earning an individual title and setting a NESCAC record was Jack Davies, who won the 3,000 steeplechase in 8:58.01. Chu, Holtzman, Fritz Parker and Will Bain comprised the 4x100 team that finished with a time of 43.21.

Holtzman earned a second place finish in the 200 (22.07), as did Wilder Schaaf in the 1,500 (3:54.50), while Jason McCallum was second-best in the pole vault (14'1.25”). Deklan Robinson and Taylor Shortsleeve finished in a tie for second place in the high jump, both clearing 6'2”. The men's DMR team comprised of Schaaf, Patrick Hebble, Sam Craft and Cooper Kersey placed second overall with a time of 10:10.31.

Juliet Ryan-Davis and Addy Tousley took home titles for the women. Ryan-Davis won the 800 with a time of 2:13.73, while Tousley was a victor in the 5,000 (16:59.51). The 4x800 relay team comprised of Sara Guth, Alison Maxwell, Sarah O'Brien and Nicole Schachman were victorious with a time of 9:26.19.

Emily Dodge broke the school record with a third place finish in the long jump (18'.25"), while placing second in the triple jump (36'7.5”). Grace Doering earned a second place finish in the high jump (5'3”), while Ryan-Davis was second in the 400 (57.51).
