The Middlebury women’s track and field program has been in existence since 1910. The indoor team has qualified for 17 of the last 18 NCAA Championships, placing a program-best ninth in 2000. The outdoor squad has finished in the top-15 places six times at the NCAA Championships.
The Panthers have been crowned NESCAC Champions five times, most recently claiming three-straight titles from 2022 to 2024, and have placed in the top-three spots at the conference meet in 20 of the last 21 years.
Together, the indoor and outdoor teams boast five individual national championships, two national champion distance medley relay squads (2011 and 2012) and 134 All-American honorees.
