Three more athletes competed on day two of the 2012 NCAA Track & Field Championships. The events are taking place on the campus of Claremont-Mudd-Scripts in California at the Fritz B. Burns Stadium. Junior Grace Doering earned All-American honors in the high jump, placing eighth overall by clearing 5'5.75".
Senior Margo Cramer qualified for the finals in the 800, finishing with a time of 2:08.89. She will compete again late Saturday in the championship race.
Mia Martinez was Middlebury's third competitor on Saturday, racing in the 100 hurdles. The senior finished with a time of 14.69 in the race, but unfortunately did not qualify for the finals.
