Five Earn All-American Honors At NCAA Track & Field Championships

Middlebury boasted five All-Americans and broke three school records at the 2011 NCAA Track & Field Championships hosted by Ohio Wesleyan. The six Middlebury women finished 12th among 86 scoring teams, while the pair of men were 57th among 75 scorers.

Margo Cramer turned in the team's top performance, placing second overall in the 1,500 with a time of 4:23.15. Her time was a new Middlebury record and earned her All-American honors. Kaitlynn Saldanha and Juliet Ryan-Davis both earned the honor in the 800, with Saldanha placing fourth (2:12.94) and Ryan-Davis coming in seventh (2:13.16). Saldanha's time of 2:11.08 in the time trials was a new school record. Amanda Lee competed in the 3,000 steeplechase, finishing the race 19th overall in 11:05.95.

Jack Davies took home All-American honors for the men in the 3,000 steeplechase, placing seventh overall with a school-record time of 9:04.91. Also accomplishing the feat was Michael Schmidt in the 5,000, who finished eighth in 14:50.28.
