Several members of the Middlebury track squad represented the team at the Larry Ellis Invitational Meet hosted by Princeton University. Some of the top athletes from Division I, II and III in the region competed at the event, with seven Panthers earning NCAA Qualification standards and four setting school records.
Margo Cramer broke Middlebury's 32-year old record in the 1,500, setting a new NESCAC record with a time of 4:27.85. Amanda Lee also qualified for the NCAA's, breaking the school record with a time of 10:44.56 in the 3,000 steeplechase.
Earning NCAA qualifying times and setting school records for the men were Jack Davies in the 3,000 steeplechase (9:01.28) and Michael Schmidt in the 5,000 (14:17.15).
Three other women qualified for the NCAA's, including Erin Toner in the 1,500 (4:37.11), Addie Tousley in the 5,000 (17:29.73) and Juliet Ryan-Davis in the 800 (2:12.99)
