Middlebury extended its winning streak to seven games with a convincing 7-1 victory over Keene State on Kohn Field Tuesday night. The 10^th ranked Panthers improve to 9-2 overall, while the Owls fall to 11-3, with all three losses coming at the hands of NESCAC teams. Middlebury returns to action on Saturday when they host Trinity at 2:00 p.m.

Hannah Clarke opened the scoring just 2:20 into the game, finishing off a rebound after a save had been made by Caitlin Davin-Draper. Lauren Greer also scored on a rebound at the 11:12 mark, before Clarke scored her second of the game and ninth of the season, converting a feed from Elinore O'Brien.

Just 2:46 later, the advantage increased to 4-1 when Greer scored her second of the night, driving to the goal from the right side before lifting a shot into the cage. Hailey Culhane ended the first half scoring with her first career goal at the 28:23 mark. Culhane took a quick pass from Katherine Theiss before blasting a shot past Davin-Draper from the left side of the circle. Keene had a late first half breakaway, but were unable to muster up a shot.

Senior Lucy Jackson netted her first career goal in the second half at the 42:23 mark, putting home a rebound. Only 1:19 later, Greer earned her second hat-trick of the season when she dodged a defender and scored driving to the goal from the right side. The tally was Greer's 12^th in her last five games.

D.J. Cassidy, on in relief of Davino-Draper made a big save on Clarke to deny her a hat-trick in the 62^nd minute. The Owls broke up the shutout with 5:57 remaining when Alyce Ferenc scored her eighth of the season on a rebound.

Becca Shaw made a pair of first half saves to earn the win, while Madeline Brooks (1 save) and Emily Knapp (1 save) both saw second half action. Davino-Draper stopped five shots in the first half, while Cassidy earned 13 second half saves.
