Indoor Track Competes At Bowdoin

The Panther indoor track teams returned to action at the Bowdoin Quad Meet, competing against WPI, RPI and the host school. Senior Kaitlyn Saldanha (Scarborough, Maine) set a new school record with a win in the 600, finishing with a time of 1:37.82. She also won the 1000 in 3:04.91 and was a part of the winning 4x4 relay team.

Other members of that relay team were senior Katy Magill (Boxford, Mass.) and rookies Victoria Sheffield (Seattle, Wash.) and Morgan Childs (Castleton, Vt.), who finished with a time of 4:13.17. Senior Erin Toner (New Providence, N.J.) won the mile (5:22.49), sophomore Danielle Baker (Glastonbury, Conn.) captured the pole vault (10') for the second week in a row, as did senior Allison Astolfi (Merrimack, N.H.) in the long jump (16'11.25”).

First-year athlete Peter Hetzler (Rumson, N.J.) picked up a win in the 400 (51.17) for the victory, while sophomore Stuart Fram (Waterbury Center, Vt.) earned a win in the high jump (6'1.25”).
