Track Competes At Pt. Loma

Middlebury returned to action at Pt. Loma with its second meet of the spring trip. Margo Cramer provisionally qualified for the NCAA's with a time of 4:37.2 to win the 1500. Grace Doering finished second in the high jump (5'5"), Dalton came in fourth in the 400 hurdles (1:05.88), while Chelsea Ward-Waller placed fourth in the steeplechase (12:06.41). The 800 saw Middlebury place racers in second (2:16.08), third (2:17) and fourth (2:17.35), as Cramer, Cailey Condit and Rebecca Fanning were the finishers. Demers came in fifth in the 500 (58.66), while Danielle Baker was fifth in the pole vault (10'2.5").

On the men's side, Michael Schmidt and John Montroy both earned victories. Schmidt won the 5000 in 14:54.25, while Montroy was a winner in the 110 hurdles (15.50). Silas Wong finished third in the triple jump (45'5") and fifth in the javelin (164'), while  Addison Godine came in fifth (1:55.950 in the 800.
