The fourth-ranked Middlebury women's tennis team continued its weekend trip through Connecticut with a 9-0 victory Saturday over NESCAC foe Trinity. The match took place at the Paul Assaiante Tennis Center. Middlebury (11-2, 4-1) returns to action on Sunday with a 10:00 a.m. match at No. 5 Wesleyan.

The visitors began by notching all three points during doubles play. The top Panther tandem of Katherine Hughes and Skylar Schossberger posted an 8-0 victory over Vanja Babunski and Julia Brogan, while the No. 2 team of Catherine Blazye and Maddi Stow blanked Emily Curtis and Jillian Winer, 8-0. The third Middlebury duo of Heather Boehm and Ann Martin Skelly rounded out the scores with an 8-2 victory against Ania Aliev and Lily Everett.

In singles, the Panthers were victorious in straight sets during all six matches. Molly Paradies blanked Aliev at No. 5 (6-0, 6-0), while Stow clinched the match in the fourth spot with a 6-0, 6-2 victory against Winer.

Emily Bian made it 6-0 in favor of Middlebury via a 6-1, 6-2 triumph over Morgan Wilkins at No. 6, while Boehm cruised past Brogan in the second flight (6-0, 6-0). Schossberger dropped just two games during a 6-1, 6-1 win over Krista Jiranek at No. 3, while Hughes completed the sweep with a 6-0, 7-6 (5) victory against Babunski.
