The Middlebury women's swimming & diving team concluded its 2016 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships competing in two events on Saturday. The four-day event took place at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina and is hosted by the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.
Competing on an individual basis during the final day was Morgan Burke. The third-year Panther swam to 34th place in the 100 freestyle in a time of 52.12. Scheduled to compete in the 200 backstroke, Middlebury's Isabel Wyer was unable to swim in the event due to illness.
The women's 400 free relay quartet of Kristin Karpowicz, Wyer, Stephanie Andrews and Burke posted a preliminary time of 3:29.90 to finish 19th in the event.
As a team, the Middlebury women scored 18 team points to finish 34th out of 55 teams which tallied points over the course of the championship meet.
