Four members of the Middlebury women's swimming and diving team have been lauded as All-Americans by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for their efforts at the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships in Indianapolis.
 
Anna McGrew collected a pair of individual nods in the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle races. The 800 free relay quartet of Hannah Baumgartner, McGrew, Isla Johnston and Lauren Jolley also earned All-America praise.

HONOREE HIGHLIGHTS

• McGrew opened the four-day meet in strong form, earning a spot in the 50 free championship final with a preliminary clocking of 22.77 seconds. She placed fourth in the nightcap by stopping the clock at 22.98 to secure First-Team All-American honors.
• In the 800 free relay, the Middlebury squad landed its final touch at 7:35.03 to claim seventh place in the morning session. After the evening action, the Panthers slotted 15th in the standings to grab a second-team nod.
• McGrew rounded out the weekend with a stellar effort in the 100 free, lowering the program record to 50.69 seconds during the prelims. She reset the bar in the consolation final, earning second-team honors with a ninth-place time of 49.84 seconds.

NOTES

• Following her sophomore campaign, McGrew is a four-time All-American and became the first women's swimmer in school history to post a sub-50-second time in the 100 free.
• The relay laurels were the first in the careers of Baumgartner, Johnston and Jolley.

Middlebury finished with 28 points to slot 20th on the team leaderboard, marking the squad's highest finish at the NCAA Championships since an 18th-place showing in 2017.
