800 Free Relay Finishes 15th at NCAA Championships

The Middlebury women's 800 freestyle relay finished 15th for Honorable Mention All-American honors during day three of the 2016 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships. The four-day event is taking place at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina and is hosted by the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.

The quartet of Kristin Karpowicz, Stephanie Andrews, Morgan Burke and Isabel Wyer stopped the clock with a time of 7:35.57 to conclude the morning's swim with the 15th-best mark in the 800 freestyle relay. The top-eight seeded teams competed for a national title in the evening's final.

The final day of competition begins Saturday morning with preliminaries at 10:00 a.m., while the finals are slated for 6:00 p.m.
