The Panther swimming and diving teams capped off their weekend by hosting a dual meet on Sunday against Bates. The men utilized their depth for the third-straight win in defeating the Bobcats by a 151-137 score, while the women fell by a narrow 152-146 tally. The Panthers return to action Saturday when they travel to Union for a dual meet starting at 2:00 p.m.

On the men's side, the Panthers recorded nine individual event victories. Picking up two wins each were Stephan Koenigsberger and Matthew Lantin. Koenigsberger won the 100 breaststroke (59.22) and 200 breaststroke (2:09.58) events, while Lantin claimed the 200 free (1:45.06) and 500 free (4:44.97).

Other winners in the pool were Michael McGean in the 1650 free (16:28.26), Bryan Cheuk led the field home during the 50 free (21.87), Taylor Moore finished first in the 100 free (49.15) and Connor McCormick won the 400 individual medley (4:17.56).

On the diving board, Dylan Peters amassed 210.68 points and earned the 3-meter title.

During women's action in the day's opening relay, the 400 medley team of Sarah Bartholomae, Jamie Hillas, Megan Griffin and Courtney Haron were victorious with a time of 3:59.45.

A trio of Panthers tallied two individual wins apiece. Morgan Burke was victorious in both the 100 free (54.40) and 200 free (1:58.76), Hillas won the 100 breaststroke (1:04.97) and 200 breaststroke (2:24.45), while Margaret Pollack stopped the clock first in the 100 fly (59.86) and 200 fly (2:11.98).

During the final event of the meet, the Middlebury 400 free relay quartet of Burke, Hillas, Ann Carpenter and Haron touched the wall ahead of the field with a time of 3:36.31.
