Women's Tennis Handles UC-Santa Cruz

The Panther women's tennis team moved to 4-1 on the year with an 8-1 win over UC-Santa Cruz (2-10) in a matched played at Claremont in California. Middlebury had little trouble with its opponent, as the sixth-ranked Panthers won all six singles matches in straight sets.

With the doubles matches tied at 1-1, Ria Gerger and Kaysee Orozco earned an 8-6 win in the top spot in a hotly-contested match. Lauren Amos made it a 3-1 match with a 6-0, 6-2 win at #5, while Jennifer Sundstrom cruised 6-1, 6-1 in the sixth spot. Dorrie Paradies also had little trouble at #4, 6-0, 6-1, while the team received wins at 1, 2 and 3 respectively from Ria Gerger, Alexandra Fields and Margot Marchese to wrap up the win.
