Women's Tennis Competes At Harvard

The Middlebury College women's tennis team was in action over the weekend at the Harvard Fall Classic. The Panthers competed against all Division I teams with some impressive success. Rookie Lok-Sze Leung (Hong Kong) won the "C" singles flight, cruising to a 6-0, 6-1 win over her opponent from UMass. in the finals.

Leung also won the "B" doubles flight with her partner, senior Sally Wilkey (Vero Beach, Fla.). The duo topped their opponents from B.U. 8-6 in the finals, after picking up an 8-1 win and a pair of 8-3 victories.

The doubles team of senior Victoria Aiello (Milton, Mass.) and junior Leah Kepping (Northport, N.Y.) won their first-round match, before topping the second-seeded team in the bracket from B.U. by a score of 9-7. The duo fell in the semifinals round by a score of 8-6.
