Individuals Compete At NCAA Women's Tennis Championships

Three Middlebury women's tennis players were in action at the 2011 NCAA Tennis singles and doubles championships hosted by Claremont and Pomona-Pitzer in California. On day one, Victoria Aiello came from a set down to advance to the quarterfinals with a 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 win over Laura Chen of Carnegie Mellon. In doubles play, Brittney Faber and Leah Kepping advanced to the quarters with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Solomon/Wang of Pomona Pitzer.

On the second day of action, Aiello fell in the quarterfinals to Kristin Lim of Claremont, 6-4, 6-2. Faber and Kepping also saw their season come to an end in the quarters, falling 6-2, 7-6 to Clark/McManigle of Emory.
