Middlebury earned its 10th and 11th shutouts of the season as the Panthers cruised to 8-0 and 19-0 wins over Lyndon State (5-13). Middlebury has shutout three straight opponents and six of its last seven, improving to 19-4 on the year. Jessa Hoffman doubled in game two, setting the new Middlebury single-season record with 11.

Middlebury pitcher Ali McAnaney (7-1) was the story in game one, striking out 12 in the six inning game, while facing the minimum. She struck out 10 of the first 12 batters she faced, giving up a long single up the middle in the fourth.

Leading 1-0, Middlebury struck for four runs in the fourth inning on five hits. A two-run single to center by Hoffman and a two-run double to left by Jessica Poracky plated the runs. A solo homer to left by Emily Burbridge made it a 6-0 game, before the Panthers ended the game with a pair in the sixth. Back-to-back doubles to left by Megan Margel and Poracky made it 7-0, before Poracky scored on a groundout by Burbridge to end the game.

Poracky went 3-4 with a double and four RBI, while Burbridge was 2-4 with a homer and two driven in. Margel also finished the game with a pair of hits, including a double. Natalia Shams had the lone hit for Lyndon, as Meghan Gadapee (4-7) took the loss.

Middlebury sent 19 batters to the plate in the fourth inning of game two, scoring 14 runs on its way to a 19-0 win in a five inning contest. RBI doubles by Alex Scibetta and Emily Kraytenberg gave the Panthers a 2-0 lead in the first inning. Middlebury added three more in the third, before the fourth inning explosion. Scibetta, Kraytenberg Alyson Downing and Geena Constantin each had two hits in the inning, with a pair of doubles from Constantin.

Constantin (5-1) picked up the win with nine strikeouts over four innings of work, allowing just two hits, while lowering her ERA to 0.38 on the season. Alexa Lesenskyj tossed the fifth, striking out a pair. Scibetta finished the game 3-4 with a double, four RBI and two runs scored, while Kraytenberg was 3-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored. Constantin drove in six runs with a 2-4 game, while Margel and Downing also had a pair of hits. Natalia Shams had both of Lyndon's hits, while taking the loss.
