Middlebury College

The Middlebury softball team achieved varsity status in 1998 and has continued to grow each year. The Panthers have qualified for the NESCAC Tournament 15 times and won their first conference title in 2011. Middlebury set a record for most wins (30) that season, en route to its inaugural NCAA Tournament appearance. The Panthers reset the program record books in 2026, winning their second conference title and setting a program and Middlebury record for single-season victories with 35. The squad secured a bid to the NCAA Tournament and won two contests in regional action for the first time in school history.
