The Middlebury softball program earned recognition from Easton and the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) for its commitment in the classroom. Middlebury slotted into a share of 25th place in Division III with a 3.68 grade point average (GPA). Additionally, 15 student-athletes were honored as Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes.

The Panthers ranked alongside Brandeis University, Keuka College, The College of St. Scholastica and Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in GPA. Bates was the other NESCAC school in the top 25, pacing Division III with a 3.86 mark.

To earn Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete status, each student-athlete must maintain a GPA of 3.50 or higher through the spring semester. Recent graduates Kristyn Carroll and Jen Westphal and rising seniors Sarah LaFond, Olivia Scholes and Skylar Wong earned the accolade. Capping the Panther honorees are rising juniors Uma Corcoran, Olivia Fleming, Mia Gilham and Alison Jankowski and rising sophomores Reagan Adiletta, Emily Dowd, Riley Keane, Katelyn Mikros, Maren Robinson and Sera Tokumaru.

Carroll and Westphal conclude their Middlebury careers as four-time Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes.
