After a late start, Middlebury made quick work of Trinity as the Panthers earned a 5-1 win over the Bantams in a NESCAC Tournament first-round match-up at Williams. Middlebury advances to take on the host school in a semifinal contest at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Due to the late start, singles play took place first, which is all the Panthers would need to advance as the match was played to decision. The Panthers won five of six singles matches in straight sets to pick up the win.
