The Middlebury women's tennis team enjoyed success at the recent NEWITT Championships in Massachusetts. The Panthers boasted more teams in the semifinal rounds than any other school competing at the tournament.

Brittney Farber and Leah Kepping advanced to the semifinals in the main draw, before falling 2-1. Also advancing to the semi's in that draw were Victoria Aiello and Jamie Haar, falling 3-0 to the eventual bracket winners.

Advancing to the semifinals of the "B" flight were Alexandra Guynn and Alyssa Puccinelli. The duo fell 3-0 to the eventual winners of the bracket.
