The Panther women's tennis team picked up an impressive road win, as #9 Middlebury earned a 5-4 win at #8 Williams. The Panthers led early, winning two of three doubles matches to take a 2-1 lead.

Junior Amy Roche (Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y.) and first-year player Elizabeth Emery (McLean, Va.) were 8-4 winners, while junior Emily Holick (Sudbury, Mass.) and first-year player Elizabeth Stone (Cohasset, Mass.) also earned an 8-4 win.

All singles matches were played in straight sets, with Middlebury winning 1-3 and Williams earning victories in the 4-6 matches. Roche was a 6-2, 6-1 winner, while Holick picked up a 6-2, 7-5 win. With the match tied at 4-4, sophomore Amanda Berck (Roslyn, N.Y.) picked up a 6-4, 6-2 win to clinch the match for the Panthers.
