Softball Team Splits With Castleton

Middlebury picked up an 8-6 win in game one before Castleton battled back to earn a split with a 5-4 win in the second game. The Panthers banged out a dozen in hits in game one as Lily Hamburger went 1-3 with a two-run double, while Michaela George was 2-4 with and RBI single and double. Jennifer Williams earned the win, while Lauren Bowe picked up the save.

Errors plagued the Panthers in game two as Castleton scored four unearned runs on their way to the win. Maura Casey led the Panthers, going 2-3 with a triple and two runs scored, while George and Williams had two singles apiece.
