The top-ranked Middlebury field hockey team blanked Connecticut College 6-0 to secure its 28th-consecutive road victory. The triumph marked the team's seventh shutout of the season, as the Panthers remain unbeaten with a 13-0 mark.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Middlebury opened the scoring with just over a minute elapsed in the quarter. Sadie LeStage carried the ball to the right baseline and sent a cross to Katie George who tapped the ball in from the left pipe.
- The Panthers increased their advantage with a pair of quick markers midway through the stanza. With 8:09 elapsed, Amy Griffin rifled a shot from the top of the arc into the lower left corner. Less than a minute later, Audrey Lazar blasted a shot on frame that Camel goalie Liz Winemaster got a foot on, but the ball deflected into the cage for the 3-0 advantage after one quarter.
- George struck again with 22:27 on the clock to make it 4-0. The Panther stole the ball from a defender and raced down the field, into the circle, and flipped the ball over Winemaster's weak side.
- At the 39:23 mark, an initial shot by Caroline Segal was thwarted by Winemaster, but Madaket Rzepka was on hand to tip in the rebound and give the Panthers a 5-0 lead..Â
- Middlebury capped the scoring less than a minute later when Griffin lofted a reverse chip over the Connecticut College defense to make it 6-0.
NOTES
- With two goals and a helper today, Griffin tallied her 100th career point. She also moved into fourth place on the Panthers' career assist list with 32.Â
- George concludes the weekend with five goals, as she takes over fifth place on Middlebury's all-time scoring list with 61 in her career.Â
- The program's met for the 24th time as the Panthers improved their record against the Camels to 22-2.
