Top-ranked Middlebury outshot Hamilton 23-2 on its way to a 4-0 shutout victory over the Continentals (4-2, 1-2) in New York. The Panthers (6-0, 3-0) return to action on Sunday with a noon start at St. John Fisher.

Erin Nicholas scored her team-leading ninth goal of the season with an assist from
Amy Griffin. The goal came after a penalty corner.Â

Audrey Lazar made it a 2-0 game at the 24:10 mark, redirecting a shot by
Caroline Segal.

Meg Feary gave the visitors a 3-0 advantage just 41 seconds into the second half, ripping a shot home from just inside the circle after a restart.
Lazar tallied her second of the game at 43:45, with another assist from Segal in transition, making it a 4-0 final.

Grace Harlan made one save in goal to earn the victory, while Maggie Reville made 10 stops for the hosts. Middlebury held a 13-3 edge in penalty corners in the contest.
