Panthers Lead After One Day at George Phinney Classic

Middlebury leads after one day of play at the highly-competitive 2019 George Phinney Classic at the par-71 Ralph Myhre Golf Course on the Middlebury campus. The Panthers shot a 312 on Saturday, five strokes ahead of Amherst and Williams. Action concludes on Sunday with 18 holes of golf beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Chloe Levins led the team and was one stroke off the lead with a 74 (2nd) on Saturday, with Katie Murphy one stroke behind her at 75 (3rd). Blake Yaccino turned in a solid 78 to sit in a tie for ninth place, while Anna Zumwinkle (85) and Kayla Li (86) rounded out the team on day one.
