Winners of four of the six singles matches, the fourth-ranked Middlebury women's tennis team rallied for a 4-3 victory at Division I foe Quinnipiac on Friday at the Outdoor Tennis Courts in Connecticut. The contest utilized Division I rules where a doubles pro-set is played to six games and a team must win two of the three doubles flights to earn the point. The Bobcats grabbed two of the three matches during doubles play to gain the point. The hosts claimed wins at No. 3 (6-1) and in the top spot (6-3). Middlebury's No. 2 tandem of Heather Boehm and Ann Martin Skelly posted a 6-3 victory over Dominique Vasile and Proyfon Lohaphaisan after the doubles decision had already been tallied by the hosts.
