The Panther women's golf team finished fourth among 18 teams in action at the Mount Holyoke Invitational hosted by The Orchards Golf Club. Williams took home the title with a 603, while the Panthers came in with a two-day total of 634. Middlebury returns to action next weekend when it hosts the George Phinney Golf Classic.
Blake Yaccino had a big weekend for Middlebury, shooting a 75 on day one to finish with a 154, tying her for sixth place. Chloe Levins was next for the Panthers, tying for 12th place by carding a 157 (79-78). Two strokes back was Hope Matthews, who came in with a 159 (82-77) to tie for 18th place overall, taking five strokes off her day one score. Bettering Saturday's round by seven strokes was Helen Dailey, who finished with a 165 (86-79), while Erika Nakagawa rounded out the scorers with a 174 (85-89).
