Women's Golf Opens Fall Season at St. Lawrence

The Middlebury women's golf team began its fall season with a second-place finish among 13 teams at the St. Lawrence Invitational. The Panthers shot a two-day total of 615, including a 303 on day two, while NYU pulled away from the field with a 589. The Panthers return to action next weekend at Wellesley.

Chloe Levins led Middlebury at the event, finishing in a fifth-place tie with a two-day total of 150 (77-73). Placing ninth was Katharine Fortin, who carded a 152 (79-73), while Blake Yaccino followed in a tie for 12th-place with a 156 (76-80). One stroke behind in a tie for 14th was Helen Dailey with a 157 (80-77), while Hope Matthews rounded out the field with a 162 (80-82).
