The seventh-ranked Middlebury women's tennis team prevailed in a matchup of top-20 foes behind strong singles play for an 8-1 victory over #18 Brandeis (4-4). The home match took place in the Nelson Recreational Center. The Panthers (2-0) travel west for five matches in California during its spring break trip, starting with a contest against NCAA Division II Academy of Art on Sunday, March 26 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.

Middlebury started things off notching two of the three points during doubles play. The No. 2 tandem of Kaysee Orozco and Catherine Blazye posted an 8-1 victory over Ariana Ishaq and Haley Cohen. The Panther team of Christina Puccinelli and Katherine Hughes recorded an 8-4 win in the top flight against Sabrina Ross Neergaard and Olivia Leavitt. The Judges earned their point of the match when the No. 3 pair of Michele Lehat and Keren Khromchenko edged Middlebury's Molly Paradies and Skylar Schossberger, 8-5.

In singles, the Panthers dropped a combined 15 games during the six matches. Blazye breezed by Leavitt at No. 4 (6-1, 6-1). Puccinelli made it 4-1 in favor of the hosts via a 6-1, 6-2 win against Ross Neergaard in the top spot, while Heather Boehm clinched the match with a 6-1, 6-3 triumph over Cohen at No. 2.

Paradies made it a 6-1 Middlebury advantage with a 6-3, 6-1 win against Khromchenko at No. 3, while Hughes tallied a 6-2, 6-0 victory in the sixth spot against Ishaq. Schossberger concluded the scoring with a 6-0, 6-0 triumph over Lehat at No. 5.
