Erin Dillon scored 3:02 into overtime, lifting eighth-ranked Connecticut College (4-1-0, 3-1-0) to a 4-3 win over sixth-ranked Middlebury (3-3-0, 3-1-0) in Kenyon Arena. The Panthers end their semester next Saturday when they host Castleton at 3:00 p.m., while the Camels visit Manhattanville on the same day.

Connecticut College wasted little time getting on the board, opening the scoring just 1:42 into the first period. Lily Connolly beat a Middlebury defender behind the goal, before Elena Gualtieri connected with her pass to make it 1-0. 

The Camels increased the lead to 2-0 at the 6:33 mark when Katlyn Paiva backhanded a feed from Gualtieri to the upper-right corner of the goal.

Middlebury responded 11:04 into the period, when Ellie Barney netted her first career goal, making it 2-1.

The Panthers knotted the game on a power play at the 14:59 mark when Madie Leidt centered a pass from the right, before Jessica Young one-timed the feed from the top of the left faceoff circle into the back of the net.

The hosts took the lead 12:25 into the second stanza on a power play when Young knocked in a centering pass from Leidt, making it 3-2.

Middlebury had a great opportunity to make it a two-goal game 7:49 into the third period, but Janka Hlinka's shot hit the pipe and was cleared away.

Connecticut College found the equalizer at the 13:23 mark when Connolly banked in a shot off Middlebury goaltender Lin Han after a pass from Gualtieri.

Dillon's game-winner came when Paiva gathered her own rebound and made a quick pass for a one-timer.

Middlebury held a slim 30-28 shots' advantage in the game, as Han made 24 saves between the pipes. Bailey Mertz picked up the win, making 27 stops on the afternoon. The victory gave Connecticut College a split of the weekend series after Middlebury was victorious 3-0 on Friday night.
