The Middlebury alpine ski team returned to action on Friday, taking part in the Dartmouth Carnival at the Dartmouth Skiway in Lyme, New Hampshire. The Panthers sit in fourth place with 178 points, as Vermont (251), New Hampshire (211) and Dartmouth (205) sit just ahead of Middlebury. Rob Cone took home second-place honors in the giant slalom to pace the Panther men.
Alpine action resumes on Saturday with the slalom event beginning at 9:00 a.m., while the nordic competition takes place on Saturday at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center in Vermont due to the lack of snow at Oak Hill.
