The Middlebury women's golf team finished third among 14 teams competing at the Mount Holyoke Invitational. Williams won the event with a 605, followed by NYU (635), Middlebury (646) and Amherst (651). Action took place at the Orchards Golf Club in South Hadley, Massachusetts.
Leading the way for Middlebury was Katharine Fortin, who placed in a tie for 10th place with a 160, including a 76 on day one. Helen Dailey shot a 162 (80-82) to finish in a tie for 17th, while Theodora Yoch was 22nd (78-88) with a 166. Hope Matthews wasn't far behind in a tie for 23rd with a 167 (85-82), while Lilia Everson shaved 11 strokes off her day-one score to finish with a 169 (90-79), good for a tie for 27th place among 84 golfers.
