The Middlebury women's golf team finished fourth among 12 teams taking part in the 2015 Vassar College Invitational. Action took place on the par-72, 5,852-yard Casperkill Golf Club in Poughkeepsie, New York. Williams won the event with a 617, followed by NYU (632), Ithaca (657) and the Panthers (661). Middlebury returns to action next weekend at the Jack Leaman Tournament hosted by Amherst.
Monica Chow shaved five strokes off her day one score with a 78 on Sunday to finish with a 161, good for a 12th-place tie. Also shooting a 161 was her teammate Jordan Glatt, who carded an 82 on the second day of competition. Theodora Yoch placed 24th with her second-straight 85, coming in with a 170. Hope Matthews bettered her first day score by five strokes, shooting an 83 to finish in a 25th-place tie at 171. Just one stroke behind and tied for 28th was Michelle Peng, who shot her second-straight 86 to finish at 172.
