Despite shaving eight strokes of its day one score, the Middlebury women's golf team moved from second to third at the Mount Holyoke Invitational Tournament. The Panthers finished with a two-day total of 640, including a 316 on day two. Williams won the event with a 623, followed by Ithaca, who shot a 635. Action took place at the Orchards Golf Club in South Hadley, Mass.
Michelle Peng was Middlebury's top performer over the two-day event, placing in a fourth-place tie with a 154, including a 76 on day one. Jordan Glatt (81-80) and Hope Matthews (82-79) both carded 161s to place 11th. Theodora Yoch took six strokes off her day one scoring, finishing tied for 20th with a 164 (85-79). Rounding out the Panthers was Emma Kitchen (98-89), who came in 54th place with a 187.
