Day One Complete At NCAA Women's Golf Championship

The Middlebury women's golf team is in 13th place among 21 teams at the 2013 NCAA Championship. The event is taking place at the Baytowne Golf Course at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in Destin, Florida. Action resumes with the second round of play on Wednesday morning.

Middlebury shot a +47 335 on day one with, with a couple of solid performances. Both Monica Chow and Michelle Peng each shot an 80 at the par 72 course. Peng pared 13 holes on the day, while Chow had 10 pars and a birdie.

Jordan Glatt came in with with an 85, including a birdie on the par 3 seventh hole. Keeley Levins earned a birdie on the par 5 fifth hole, finishing up with a 90. Caroline Kenter rounded out the squad with a 97, earning a birdie on the par 3 11th.
