Women's Golf Earns Third Place Finish At Amherst

The Panther women's golf team finished third overall among 12 teams competing at the Jack Leaman Championship this weekend at Amherst.  The event was held at The Orchards on Sunday, after yesterday's opening round at the Amherst Golf Club. Amherst won the event with a 633, followed by Williams (635), Middlebury (657) and Ithaca (670). The players weren't treated to the same warm weather they had on Saturday, as they battled colder temperatures and a light rain for a majority of Sunday's round.

Senior Flora Weeks (Seattle, Wash.) led the Panthers with a 158, including a 76 on day one for a fifth place finish. First-year player Michelle Peng (West Harrison, N.Y.) was next with a 166 in 16th place, followed closely by junior Keely Levins (Rutland, Vt.) in 18th with a 167. Rookie Jordan Glatt (Doylestown, Pa.) was next with a 169, while sophomore Caroline Kenter (Winnetka, Ill.) came in with a 177.
