Women's Tennis Earns Another Win

The Middlebury women's tennis team picked up its second win in as many days as the seventh-ranked Panthers earned an 8-1 win over 10th-ranked Bowdoin. The Panthers remain undefeated at 11-0, 3-0 in the league, while the Polar Bears fall to 6-5, 2-1 in NESCAC play.

Middlebury took 2-3 doubles matches to hold the early advantage. Brittany Faber gave the Panthers a 3-1 lead with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Chantalle Lavertu at #4, before Leah Kepping made it a 4-1 match with a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Kate Winingham in the #2 slot. Katie Paradies sealed the victory at #6, defeating Emma Chow by a score of 6-4, 7-6 (6).
