XCountry Teams Race At Albany

The Middlebury cross country teams had solid results at the Albany Invitational on Saturday afternoon, with the races featuring teams from Division I, II and III. The women finished second overall to UNH in their 22-team race, while the men came in third to Albany and Brandeis in their 25-team race.

First-year racer Colette Whitney (High Bridge, N.J.) led the Panther women, placing ninth overall in the race with a time of 18:15. Sophomore Addie Tousley (Kensington, Md.) was next in 15th place in 18:31.2, followed by rookie Madie Hubbell (Des Moines, Iowa) who was .4 seconds behind. Junior Claire McIlvennie (Ithaca, N.Y.) finished the race in 22nd place in 18:38, while first-year racer Katie Rominger (Brooklyn, N.Y.) was less than a second behind (18:38.9) in 23rd.

Senior Jack Terrett (Sherborn, Mass.) paced the Panther men, finishing the race in 13th place with a time of 25:40. Not far behind in 14th place was sophomore Jack Davies (Grosse Pointe, Mich.) in 25:43.2, followed by first-year racer Greg Krathwohl (Ipswich, Mass.) who was just .5 seconds behind in 16th place. Rookie Nate Sans (Princeton, Mass.) finished the race in 37th place (26:20), followed by junior Taylor Sundali (Ketchum, Idaho) in 49th (26:35).
