Women's Golf Opens Fall Season

The Panther women's golf team placed fourth among eight teams competing at the St. Lawrence Invitational on opening weekend. Middlebury shot a 697 over the two-day event, as the host school shot a 636 to pick up the win. First-year player Keely Levins (Rutland, Vt.) finished second overall at the event, shooting a 157, including a 76 on day two, to lead the team. Sophomore Flora Weeks (Seattle, Wash.) came in sixth place with a 163, followed by first-year player Victoria Chiang (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.), who shot a 181. Sophomore Kathryn Bostwick (New Canaan, Conn.) shot a 206, while junior Ashley Sandy (Middlebury, Vt.) came in with a 214 to round out the squad.
