The Panther women's golf team placed second among 10 teams competing at the Jack Leaman Invitational hosted by Amherst. The hosts won the event with a 657, followed by Middlebury (677), St. Lawrence (683) and Vassar (685). Senior Julie Ellenberger (Concord, Mass.) led the Panthers in second place, finishing with a two-day total of 159, including a 77 on day two. First-year player Flora Weeks (Seattle, Wash.) finished tied for fifth with a 162, followed by sophomore Jessica Bluestein (Tucson, Arizona) in 20th (174) and sophomore Elizabeth Hirsch (New City, N.Y.) in 31st place (182).
