Women's Golf Opens Fall At Dartmouth

The Panther women's golf team opened up its fall season with a 10th place finish at the 17-team Dartmouth Invitational. Middlebury finished third among Division III teams with a two-day total of 668. Harvard won the event with a 616, followed by Dartmouth (625) and Brown (629).

Leading Middlebury on the weekend was senior Julie Ellenberger (Concord, Mass.), who shot an 82 and an 81 for a two-day total of 163. Just behind her with a 164 was rookie Flora Weeks (Seattle, Wash.), followed closely by sophomore Courtney Mazzei (Larkin Valley, Calif.), who shot a 165. Sophomore Jessica Bluestein (Tucson, Ariz.) shot a 176, while classmate Elizabeth Hirsch (New City, N.Y.) came in with a 189 to round out the Middlebury golfers.
